Lanning's Foods

In 1989, Steve and Sam began their first year as owners of Lannings, which was operating out of a 2000 square foot facility. Expansion soon followed in 1992 with the construction of a 2500 square foot addition needed to accommodate current growth.

In 1999, Steve and Sam purchased 10 acres of ground closer to Mount Vernon and began construction of a modern USDA inspected facility, with plans to expand the retail and meat processing operations.

With growing demand in 2009, expansion plans began for an addition that would provide for additional storage and a state of the art ground beef processing facility.
